Great all round experience at this lovely taverna in a quiet courtyard away from the main drag. We were a group of 7. Warmly greeted on arrival. Shared a few starters - the tarama was the nicest we had all trip! Great choice of mains - all well cooked and tasty. A good wine list too. Very good value, highly recommend for the attentive, friendly service we received. I’m recommending this taverna to other friends who are visiting Corfu later this year!

The best restaurant in Corfu!!! What should I comment on first: the service? The food? The cleanliness?

If you find yourself in Corfu, don't miss out on a visit to the Kokoria tavern! A warm, welcoming environment that makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. The staff are polite and smiling, always ready to serve you with a relaxed attitude and a sense of humor. I ordered sofrito – and it was truly one of the best I've ever had! The sauce was rich, the garlic just right, and the beef tender. Accompanied by potatoes and a little wine... simply perfect. The atmosphere is authentically traditional, but with modern touches that blend beautifully. An experience you will never forget – definitely recommended!

Greek Pasta (Veggie) for me. Sofrito for him - beef in a white wine sauce and chips fried in olive oil. For both of us, this was the best meal all holiday - so far at least. Recommended by our corfuien tour guide as one of her favourites. And because it is off the main drag, it was reasonable price wise. Great Greek service too. They would have been able to accommodate Vegan, and checked with me what I meant by veggie. We also had the pitta bread and olives, with tzatziki. Just perfect. Highly recommend!
